Higher Officer Intelligence Analyst

Responsibilities include: Producing intelligence assessments which highlight current and potential future risks and threats to HMRC. Making recommendations for action. Supporting HMRC strategies. Directing enforcement and compliance activity, contributing to HMRC meeting its Public Service Agreement targets. Working closely with the Data Resource Managers, enforcement colleagues, other government departments and other Law Enforcement agencies to identify and reduce risk. Representing Intelligence Analysis and the Risk & Intelligence Directorate at local, national and international meetings.

Higher Officer Team Leader

Responsibilities include: Managing the performance, attendance and conduct of one or more staff giving regular feedback. Ensuring that staff are equipped to do the job and developing their individual potential. Building a diverse and effective team and motivating them. Contributing to the effective deployment of allocated resources, assuring quality and monitoring outputs. Producing tactical and operational intelligence products and providing intelligence advice to operational teams and customers. Representing Intelligence Analysis at local and national meetings.

Officer Intelligence Analyst

Responsibilities include: Providing an analytical service to assist in operational targeting. Producing intelligence assessments which highlight current and potential future risks and threats to HMRC. Making recommendations for action. Working closely with the Data Resource Managers, enforcement colleagues, Other Government Departments and other Law Enforcement agencies to identify and reduce risk.
